Christmas traditional dessert of Napoli – Struffoli
Every Christmas, my grandma used to make an Italian dessert called struffoli. And each year, I looked forward to her struffoli as the perfect ending to a big holiday meal. Struffoli are little fried dough balls topped with honey and colored sprinkles. I love the combination of the crunchy fried dough and luscious honey flavor. Come to think of it, struffoli would also make a perfect Hanukkah dessert being fried in oil and utterly delicious.
